Problem
Payers and providers needed a single platform to manage the end-to-end Prior Authorization lifecycle — from coverage and eligibility discovery through clinical evidence assembly, AI-assisted PA drafting, and final submission — while staying on top of real-time regulatory changes.
Approach
Built the Policy Management module for payers to track approved and draft policies, integrated the regulatory alerts API with a real-time Regulatory Radar feed over WebSocket, and implemented live PA status updates via Server-Sent Events (SSE) to remove manual refreshing. Developed the Coverage Discovery stage for eligibility alerts, built Evidence Assembly features for clinical document upload/download, and enhanced the PA Drafting stage with split approve/edit actions and inline editing. Contributed to Azure Entra ID (MSAL) SSO integration with role-based routing for payer and provider portals.
Outcome
Fixed multi-step workflow stage-progression issues, implemented responsive mobile layouts, and redesigned dashboard KPI cards, shipping a smoother Evidence Assembly and PA Drafting experience to production.
